Children under the age of 4 years must be accompanied by a person aged at least 18 years or a parent.

· this person may supervise a maximum of one under 4s

· this person must directly supervise the under 4s (ie be within reach) at all times.

Children under the age of 8 years must be accompanied by a person aged at least 18 years or a parent.

· this person may supervise a maximum of two under 8s

· this person must directly supervise under 8s (ie be within reach) at all times.

A responsible adult over the age of 18 years is allowed to supervise up to two children aged 4 – 7 years old and one adult to one child under the age of four. (who must not go into deep water – which will be clearly identified with signage)

During fun sessions the ratios will apply to all pools.

All adults supervising children under eight years of age must accompany the children in the water & be within reach.
