The Gordon Craig Theatre proudly presents one of the most energetic musicals of all time, bursting with sensational choreography and feel-good 80s hits.

 

Welcome to Bomont, a souless town in America deprived of dancing and music and still living in the past. That is until city boy Ren McCormack arrives of course and sets out to ‘cut loose – Footloose!’

 

When Ren moves from Chicago to the repressive town of Bomont and finds out the government has banned dancing and rock music, he rebels and organises a dance with fellow High School friends. And after figuring out a way to get around the law, the whole town is soon on its feet and ‘everybody cuts loose – Footloose!’

Based on the 1984 film by Dean Pitchford and Kenny Loggin, this all-singing, all-dancing production pulsates with energy.
