Macky’s back!……In their own inimitable style Andy and the Band will take you back to the days of the 50’s and 60’s New York Club circuit and the casinos of Las Vegas in this celebration of Sinatra and the music of the Big Band era.
Imagine the ambience of the Sands and the Copa Lounge, the glitz and glamour of beautiful showgirls dazzling their way through stunning dance routines, all supported by the incomparable sounds of an 18 piece Big Band, the wonderful “String of Pearls” led by none other than Chris Smith himself.
During his outstanding professional career, Chris has toured and recorded with many International showbiz legends including, Judy Garland, Peggy Lee, Tony Bennett, Jack Jones, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Diana Ross, Sammy Davis Jr, Liza Minelli and Barbra Steisand, culminating in leading the trombone section for Mr Frank Sinatra himself on his world tour “The Ultimate Event”.
After Andy’s debut album “Swing from the Apple” in 2007 and the sell out theatre show of the same name, Andy and Chris have combined their talents, added beautiful showgirls and a touch of humour to bring the real feel of Vegas to the Gordon Craig for one night only……”If you miss anything…..don’t miss this!”
