There’s the atmospheric back-drop of Red Square infused with the excitement and spectacle of a truly special evening of all things Russian.
The songs that made Russia famous are all there and we are all inevitably reminded that some of the greatest classical music ever written seemed to flow from the pen of the Russian master - Tchaikovsky. The music is unmistakably "Moscow" and can you believe the speed of the Festival Orchestra soloists? Perhaps you only ever heard "Dark Eyes" once, but you never forget that unique sound created by the age-old three stringed instrument - the Balalaika!
